In these, the coldest of days (unless you live in Australia), we’re in dire need of food that makes us feel comforted and safe. In that vein, Bobby, Meredith, and Ann are talking our favorite comfort foods, otherwise known as “things you want to eat on a plate that’s kind of like a bowl.” Unspellable Midwest goulashes? Check. Recipes that incorporate Lipton onion soup mix? Check. The salt bomb of the classic comfort dish? Check. Plus: corn water, get out the pie Pyrex, and we don’t care about the provenance of the cheese.
